WHAT WE DO –
O ti see se,
Aseyege!!!
At PODA we are committed to improving the lives of indigent girl children, orphans, widows, and economically disadvantaged women across Yorubaland. We believe that every woman and girl deserves access to education, dignity, and opportunity; we work every day to make that a reality.
We implement empowerment, awareness, and educational training programs that address socio-economic challenges faced by indigent girl children, widows, and women in our communities. Through workshops, mentorship, and skills acquisition, we equip them to build better, more sustainable futures.
Our Programmes include:

FEMME CARE:
We promote menstrual hygiene among young Nigerian girls by distributing free sanitary pads and promoting menstrual awareness.
Students in senior classes, male and female are provided honest, age-appropriate sex education that encourages responsibility, respect, and focus on their education.
WIDOW WELFARE OUTREACH:
Our Support & Relief effort targeting widows with clothing, free food packs distribution, cash relief, emotional counseling, and empowerment skills acquisition.

ORPHAN CARE PROGRAMME:
This programme extend visits and our support to various Orphanages in Yorubaland with food items, drinks, candies, sweets, toiletries, and other useful household items.
SHELTER, REHABILITATION & TRAINING
We are currently developing PODA’s Rescue Mission Centre for the Homeless / Street children. The center will provide shelter, education and care for these vulnerable boys and girls on the street completely FREE. It will be a vocational training hub, offering healing, education, and empowerment in a supportive environment.

EDUCATION SUPPORT PROGRAMME:
We provide scholarships, school materials, and mentorship for indigent girls and orphans. Scholarship covers tuition fees and basic daily needs for indigent Boys and Girls in Senior Class in Secondary Schools, Polytechnic & University.
ADVOCACY & PHILANTHROPY
Beyond our direct programs, we actively engage in advocacy and philanthropic activities that address the broader challenges faced by women and girls. Through campaigns, collaborations, and partnerships, we push for policies and practices that promote equality, dignity, and social justice.

Every initiative we undertake is a step toward a future where no woman or girl in Yorubaland is left behind; where empowerment, education, and dignity are accessible to all. Together, we can build stronger families, educated girls, and empowered women across Yorubaland.
